IHSE GmbH Appoints Dr. Thomas Niessen as CEO

IHSE GmbH has announced that Dr. Thomas Niessen has joined as CEO and Managing Director, effective May 1, 2026. He joins Frank Breitenfelder, who has served as CFO and Managing Director since April 2025.

Dr. Niessen brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and industrial companies, including leadership positions at Siemens, TE Connectivity, R. Stahl, and Belden, with a focus on critical infrastructure and industrial applications. Most recently at Belden, he held international responsibilities in portfolio management and research and development, and served as managing director of several subsidiaries and acquisitions. As CEO, he will oversee the company's sales and technical divisions.

Breitenfelder has more than 20 years of experience in international industrial and technology companies, including CFO roles at Camfil, Jenoptik, and LSG Sky Chefs, and as CFO of the hasenkamp Group. As CFO and Managing Director, he oversees the company's commercial, operational, and administrative functions.
