December brings the end of another great year of immense talent on Netflix, and to celebrate, we bring you issue 6 of Queue, Netflix's print publication that shares the story behind the story. Our final issue of the year showcases the buzzworthy films coming out of a fantastic festival season as well as the most talked-about new series.

Three brilliant actresses bring their talents to Maggie Gyllenhaal's The Lost Daughter and grace the cover of issue 6 - Olivia Colman, Dakota Johnson, and Jessie Buckley. The cover, photographed in New York City by Alexi Lubomirski, gives readers a glimpse into the trio's electric chemistry. If the shoot was any indication, the set of the film was surely a warm and energetic one!

The return to in-person film festivals this year was a thrilling way to see some of the biggest Netflix stars unveil their work around the world; Queue was there to capture the must-see moments on red carpets, in hotel rooms, on glorious Venice boats, as well as high in the Rocky Mountains with photographers Greg Williams, Justin Bishop, and Misan Harriman.

2021 brought some of the best filmmakers in the world to Netflix, and we caught up with all of them. Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Lost Daughter), Rebecca Hall (Passing), and Jeymes Samuel (The Harder They Fall) each speak to Queue about their directorial debuts; Adam McKay shares the processes of assembling his all-star cast for Don't Look Up; The Hand of God's Paolo Sorrentino talks with his cinematographer Daria D'Antonio about capturing the essence of Naples in his most personal film to date; and Jane Campion sits down with some of the amazing women who came together to make the immaculate The Power of the Dog including producer Tanya Seghatchian, cinematographer Ari Wegner, and actress Kirsten Dunst (whom is also profiled in the issue and featured on the Queue podcast Present Company with Krista Smith).

Our featured Breakthrough performer in issue 6 is Freya Allan, who captivated us in Season 1 of The Witcher and is back for more action in Season 2. We love a young woman who does her own stunts! This issue's Legends, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, discuss bringing Grace & Frankie to a close in 2022 (no matter how much we've begged for more).

We couldn't end the year without celebrating Squid Game, the smash success out of South Korea. A profile of the series' formidable production designer Chae Kyoung-sun and a recipe card that teaches you how to make your own honeycomb are just the start of our exclusive Squid Game coverage, so stay tuned for more in 2022!

And as always, we end the issue with a Last Supper, this time with Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause as our host. There's mood lighting, a breakfast menu complete with Veuve mimosas, and Elvis, Oprah, and Beyonc are on the guest list. Chrishell's is the imaginary party of the year!
