WO Media Sales Gains Momentum with the Addition of More Than 500 Client Stations in 14 Months San Francisco, April 1, 2014-WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, is pleased to announce that more than 1,000 radio and television stations are operating on its industry-leading advertising sales management and proposal solution, WO Media Sales.
WO Media Sales helps broadcast companies manage sales operations across account management, avails, planning, order EC, multimedia selling, research and analysis. In September 2012, WideOrbit acquired the assets of OneDomain to help strengthen its product offering for broadcast sales executives. WideOrbit combined the best of its sales management and CRM system with OneDomain's and launched WO Media Sales and WO Media CRM at the 2013 NAB Show. By February 2014, WideOrbit's Media Sales team was installing WO Media Sales at a rate of more than 500 stations per year with more than 1,000 live stations. WO Media CRM is also gaining momentum with broadcasters who are eager to maximize their AE effectiveness and selling time, while providing state-of-the-art reporting for sales management.
WideOrbit has recently expanded the Media Sales and CRM team by more than 20%, adding support staff, QA, client-focused product managers and developers. WideOrbit will continue to focus on growing product features in WO Media Sales and WO Media CRM, improving workflow and increasing benefits provided to sales and traffic organizations through seamless integration with WO Traffic, the company's leading traffic and revenue management solution. WideOrbit remains the only single vendor that provides a comprehensive advertising sales, CRM, traffic, billing and proposal system that manages across multiple media, stations and markets from a single database, and delivers seamless sharing of agencies, advertisers, revenue, orders and inventory.
I am proud of how our team has kept up with the extremely rapid growth, said Phyllis Neill, General Manager for WO Media Sales Business Operations at WideOrbit. To be above 1,000 stations in less than 17 months is astonishing. We'll continue to invest in the infrastructure of the team to ensure that we can continue this momentum well into the future while focusing on providing our clients with the exceptional products and support they've grown to expect.
The latest release, WO Media Sales v6.62, features numerous enhancements, including several new research reports, multi-market inventory capabilities, the ability to run respondent level data and the ability to set up a rolling average book with auto updates of overnight data. Robust integration between WO Media Sales and WO Traffic allows users to share essential data between the systems, which significantly improves workflow and visibility between the traffic and sales organizations. WO Media CRM has been built on top of the WO Media Sales platform to leverage the AE workflow and overcome typical adoption challenges.
I'm incredibly proud of our Media Sales team for all of the hard work they've put into the WO Media Sales and WO Media CRM solutions, said Eric R. Mathewson, Founder and CEO of WideOrbit. Exclusive integrations between WO Media Sales and WO Traffic deliver unrivaled benefits to our clients. As we grow and invest in these solutions, we'll continue to look for new ways to create greater synergies between sales and traffic organizations to help our clients improve workflow and optimize profitability.
WideOrbit will be providing demonstrations of WO Media Sales, WO Media CRM, and WO Traffic, and all of its solutions for radio at the 2014 NAB Show in booths N5129 and N5829 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 7-10.
