Jigsaw24 Appoints Alex Battrick as Pre-Sales Solution Con...

Jigsaw24 has appointed Alex Battrick as Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, strengthening its technical expertise as the company expands its offering across live production, video creation and end-to-end media workflows.

Alex brings extensive experience spanning post-production, live production, broadcast operations and systems integration. Most recently, he spent three years at ES Broadcast designing live production environments for customers ranging from higher education organisations to tier-one sports and video-on-demand providers. Earlier in his career, Alex worked on the client side, overseeing production environments across post-production, studios, transmission and distribution.

At Jigsaw24, Alex will work closely with customers, sales teams and technology partners to understand production requirements and design solutions tailored to how each organisation works. His appointment builds on Jigsaw24's established expertise in post-production and audio, expanding its technical capabilities across live production and content creation, including cameras, studios, galleries and integrated production workflows.

Many Jigsaw24 customers are continuing to rely on established production infrastructure while introducing newer, more agile technologies. As part of the sales and strategy teams, Alex will look at where those technologies can make a difference and find the right approach for each customer, whether that means a complete broadcast environment, a corporate studio, a podcast facility or a more automated content creation solution.

We are really pleased to have Alex join the Jigsaw24 team. His experience and knowledge will be a great asset to both the team and our clients as we increase our presence in live production, said Alan Henry, Head of Sales for Media & Entertainment at Jigsaw24. Having worked with Alex previously, I know he has a rare combination of strong technical expertise and the ability to connect closely with customers and understand their requirements. His experience on both the operational and systems integration sides of the industry means he can look at a challenge from the customer's perspective and help translate that into the right technical solution.

There are many ways to build a TV studio or create video content, and there is no single correct approach, said Alex Battrick, Pre-Sales Solution Consultant at Jigsaw24. My role is about understanding what the client needs, how their people work and what they want to achieve, and then finding the technology and workflow that best enables that vision. Technology should serve the creative vision, rather than lead it.

What attracted me to Jigsaw24 was the opportunity to build on its existing strength in post-production while expanding its live production capabilities and helping customers create genuinely end-to-end workflows. I am excited to work with the team to identify the technologies and approaches that can make content creation more effective, whether that is for a broadcaster, a corporate production team or the growing podcast community.
