Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) today announced that German broadband operator neu-medianet is making the leap to XGS-PON fiber broadband services with Harmonic's industry-leading cOS virtualized broadband platform. The cOS platform enables neu-medianet to overbuild its existing network and augment its DOCSIS footprint with XGS-PON for delivering symmetric multi-gigabit broadband services. Leveraging Harmonic's solutions, neu-medianet is building a future-ready broadband infrastructure to cost-effectively deliver a range of reliable, high-speed broadband services and grow its subscriber base.
