Former Isibaya actress and comedian Celeste Ntuli has bagged a new hosting gig We start 2023 Stronger which she hopes will help South Africans with their finances.

INSIDE CELESTE NTULI'S SHOW The comedian and actress Celeste Ntuli, who is set to host Mzansi Magic's show titled We start 2023 Stronger, tells TshisaLIVE that she's lucky to score the gig. The show is a four-part series debuting on Sunday, 5 February.

It is January and it's dope to start the year working. I was really lucky to get the payment from the gig but to also get the gig itself. It's so humanitarian and I think because we were all humbled by Covid-19, we're all starting to look at our lives differently and to of course expand my craft as a host, says Ntuli.

I found it very interesting to have young and older people and to hear how people perceive money. It improved my self-introspective conversations. In the entertainment industry, you get a lump sum and you get a dry season so my relationship with money can improve but I believe I know how to navigate. It's been healthy.

COMEDIAN RETURNS TO ACTING The standup comedian and actress Celeste Ntul, who just bagged the TV hosting gig We start 2023 Stronger also tells TshisaLIVE that says she's planning to grace the big screens as an actress.

Ntuli, who is known for her role in Isibaya as Mpiyake Zungu's wife Siphokazi Zungu has also appeared in Lockdown season three as Lindiwe and Debrah in Jiva season one.

TVSA reports that the actress has hosted and appeared as a guest in several comedy shows throughout the years such as Comedy Central Presents Live @ Parkers season one, Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola season three, Laugh Out Loud season three, Lip Sync Battle Africa season one, Red Cake Not the Cooking Show season one and seasons three, So You Think You're Funny! season two, and The Comedy Central Roast season five as a roaster.
