MapR Technologies and VMware Team Up to Deliver Apache Hadoop on VMware vSphere Collaboration Helps Customers Simplify Deployment and Operation of the MapR Distribution for Hadoop on Virtual Infrastructure PALO ALTO and SAN JOSE, Calif., June 20, 2013 MapR Technologies, Inc. and VMware today announced that MapR's Distribution for Apache Hadoop is now certified for VMware vSphere .
