
JVC updates firmware of camera GY-HM650/600, now with recording 1080 p 50 Mbps Gracias al modo 1080p 50 Mbps, las c maras GY-HM600 y GY-HM650 obtienen una mejora significativa en calidad de imagen. El esquema de compresi n H.264 de alta eficiencia proporciona mejores resultados de grabaci n en comparaci n con los formatos tradicionales MPEG.
JVC Professional ha anunciado la disponibilidad de la actualizaci n de firmware 3.0 para sus c maras GY-HM600 y GY-HM650, presentada en el pasado NAB de Las Vegas. Esta nueva versi n de firmware a ade varias y significativas mejoras a estas reputadas c maras, en el mbito de la producci n m vil de noticias.
La versi n 3.0 de firmware est ya disponible como descarga gratuita en el sitio web de JVC Professional. Es aplicable a los modelos GY-HM600 y GY-HM650 adquiridos desde octubre de 2012.
Estas mejoras consisten principalmente en la introducci n del modo Extreme High Quality (XHQ) con compresi n H.264 a 50 Mbps, virtualmente sin p rdidas; un sistema de enfoque autom tico mejorado con selecci n del area de enfoque; funciones de Streaming avanzado, incluyendo la tecnolog a de transferencia de datos ZIXI; y capacidad ampliada de selecci n de bit rate a varias resoluciones (s lo GY-HM650).
Gracias al modo 1080p 50 Mbps, las c maras GY-HM600 y GY-HM650 obtienen una mejora significativa en calidad de imagen. El esquema de compresi n H.264 de alta eficiencia proporciona mejores resultados de grabaci n en comparaci n con los formatos tradicionales MPEG, facilitando el uso de las tarjetas SDHC/SDXC (Clase 6 o 10), en lugar de otros soportes de memoria de estado s lido de mucho mayor precio.
El sistema de enfoque autom tico mejorado incrementa la usabilidad de las c maras. Es posible elegir entre 3 valores de respuesta del enfoque, desde muy lento hasta muy r pido, adapt ndose a distintas condiciones de rodaje, por ejemplo para documentales y contenidos de ndole m s art stica a noticias de ltima hora o eventos deportivos.
Adem s, JVC ha a adido una opci n de Area a su exclusivo sistema de enfoque asistido, que normalmente s lo est presente en el modo de enfoque manual. Este area permite que el operador pueda determinar r pidamente la zona sobre la que se aplica en el enfoque autom tico. ste puede centrarse en el area central de la imagen u orientarlo a los lados, usando simplemente el anillo de enfoque, sin recurrir a men s ni a pulsadores. Esta funcionalidad es muy til para retratos, reportajes sociales o situaciones donde se desea una determinada composici n de la imagen pero no se dispone de tiempo para elaborarla adecuadamente.
En tercer lugar, la versi n 3.0 de firmware a ade un conjunto de mejoras basadas en IP s lo para el modelo GY-HM650. Mayor selecci n de bit rate, desde 200 kbps a 8 Mbps para distintas resoluciones, permitiendo enviar en vivo los contenidos desde el camcorder utilizando un tel fono por sat lite. Y en lugares extremos, pero con canales de comunicaci n disponibles, el GY-HM650 podr utilizarlos para enviar datos de v deo.
Protocolos de streaming
Los usuarios contar n ahora con dos protocolos de streaming que se han a adido para el GY-HM650: RTSP y ZIXI. El protocolo ZIXI habilita el servicio Zixi en la nube, que permite la transferencia de datos a distintos velocidades y resoluciones en funci n del protocolo que utiliza el usuario. Utilizando la nueva tecnolog a Advanced Streaming (AST) de Zixi, la GY-HM650 3.0 proporciona correcci n de errores seg n el tipo de contenido y tambi n conformaci n de ancho de banda. Cuenta asimismo con la funcionalidad Streamconfidence de JVC, que proporciona informaci n en tiempo real del estado de la red telef nica y del propio streaming. Con velocidades de bits tan bajas como 256 kbps y hasta 3 Mbps, los algoritmos propietarios Zixi maximizan el ancho de banda para asegurar una transmisi n fiable incluso en condiciones dif ciles. Un sistema avanzado de correcci n de errores compensa hasta un 30% de p rdida de paquetes (s lo usando el protocolo ZIXI).
Otros aspectos que incluye la actualizaci n de firmware 3.0 son un trigger para sistemas externos de grabaci n v a SDI y la capacidad para que los smartphones, tabletas u dispositivos m viles similares puedan controlar la transferencia de ficheros v a FTP desde un acceso web remoto.
