A Nigerian student was trending on Twitter after it was revealed that he sold one of his kidneys just so he can buy his girlfriend an iPhone 14.

The student whose name remains a mystery is said to be a student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).

According to Iharare, in pictures that have since gone viral on social media, the student is wearing blue shorts and has his blue t-shirt to show his tummy.

The right side of his stomach has a bandage on the area where the kidneys are located. The application shows that he had undergone surgery a few days prior, noted Iharare.
