
Fundaci n Autor now embarks on a new stage as Foundation SGAE El proceso de transformaci n, que se ha desarrollado a lo largo del a o 2013, comenz con la creaci n de dos herramientas organizativas para la ptima evoluci n de la Fundaci n: el Plan Director y el Manual de Buenas Pr cticas.
Antonio Onetti, presidente de la Fundaci n SGAE, y Jos Luis Acosta, presidente de la SGAE, han presentado este mi rcoles, en Madrid, la transformaci n de la hasta ahora Fundaci n Autor en la nueva Fundaci n SGAE.
Fundaci n Autor, la entidad creada por la Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE) con el fin de desarrollar actividades sociales, asistenciales y promocionales para apoyar la autor a, la creaci n y la cultura desde 1997, ser a partir de ahora Fundaci n SGAE.
Uno de los principales objetivos es que haya una mayor identificaci n entre las dos organizaciones y un mejor conocimiento y transparencia sobre lo que reinvierte la SGAE en la sociedad civil. Esta es una de las decisiones que ha tomado el Patronato de la Fundaci n SGAE, m ximo rgano de gobierno de la entidad.
El proceso de transformaci n, que se ha desarrollado a lo largo del a o 2013, comenz con la creaci n de dos herramientas organizativas para la ptima evoluci n de la Fundaci n: el Plan Director y el Manual de Buenas Pr cticas. Esto implica que el funcionamiento de la entidad se rige por un protocolo de procedimientos administrativos, riguroso y sujeto a unos par metros definidos.
Los objetivos de la Fundaci n SGAE son apoyar la autor a y la creaci n, velar por el respeto a los derechos de autor, tanto patrimoniales como morales, posicionar la autor a como elemento clave del sector y promover la misma desde la perspectiva del desarrollo del mbito cultural y sus repercusiones econ micas en la sociedad, facilitar la relaci n de la autor a con el conjunto de la sociedad, promover la pedagog a social sobre el derecho de autor e impulsar el acceso a la cultura, contribuir a mejorar el funcionamiento del espacio en el que los autores desarrollan su trabajo y a explicitar la importancia de la cultura en el conjunto de la sociedad y fomentar las nuevas expresiones art sticas y los proyectos multidisciplinares en el conjunto del repertorio sobre el que trabaja la Fundaci n SGAE.
Adem s, la entidad asume un c digo tico basado en principios como la ausencia de fin lucrativo, el quilibrio y diligencia en la administraci n de recursos y la transparencia en la gesti n.
M s ayudas para los socios de la entidad
En concreto, si en 2012, la Fundaci n destin 317.000 euros dentro de su programa asistencial de previsi n social con el fin de ayudar a 94 socios; en 2013 ha destinado 500.000 euros, un 58% m s que en el ejercicio anterior. Como dato m s actual, en septiembre de 2013 se han otorgado ayudas para un total de 136 socios, con una inversi n de 384.000 euros.
La Mutualidad de Previsi n Social de Autores y Editores es otra de las ventajas que ofrece la SGAE dentro de su pol tica asistencial social a los autores y editores, miembros de la organizaci n. Se trata de una entidad aseguradora, que se financia a partir de aportaciones de los mutualistas y de entidades o personas protectoras que realiza contratos de seguro individual en el que el mutualista debe cumplir una triple condici n: ser el tomador, asegurado y beneficiario.
Su cobertura principal es la de jubilaci n, pudiendo asegurar as mismo viudedad, invalidez, orfandad. Entre sus ventajas destaca su alta rentabilidad (4% anual en los ltimos doce a os) y que est exenta de gastos, penalizaciones ni comisiones. La Fundaci n ha destinado 100.000 euros para el presente ejercicio.
M s de 1 mill n de euros en promoci n y formaci n
Adem s, en 2013 ha puesto en marcha un programa de ayudas a la promoci n y a la formaci n, que ha destinado m s de 1 mill n de euros para los m s de 100.000 miembros de la SGAE, con el objetivo de impulsar la creaci n y contribuir a la difusi n internacional del repertorio de sus socios.
Asimismo, la entidad presidida por Antonio Onetti ha designado 170.000 euros a los laboratorios de creaci n, 187.000 euros para el sistema de incentivos a la creaci n, edici n y estrenos de obras sinf nicas y 167.000 euros que se han asignado a otras l neas de formaci n. En total, la Fundaci n SGAE ha otorgado un total de 1.094.000 euros en 2013 para ayudas a los socios de la SGAE, lo que supone un incremento del 66% respecto a 2012. Un total de 188 socios de la entidad se han beneficiado de las ayudas y becas de la Fundaci n SGAE.
La autor a es el elemento fundamental en la cadena de desarrollo de la materia cultural y art stica, el elemento sin el cual apenas podr an desarrollarse no ya solo los resultados de esa creaci n, sino tampoco el sector cultural en su conjunto que, desde el punto de vista de la generaci n del Producto Interior Bruto y de puestos de trabajo, ha sido uno de los m s activos en la econom a espa ola , expone Antonio Onetti, presidente de la Fundaci n SGAE.
En este 2013, hasta la fecha, la Fundaci n SGAE ha organizado m s de 70 cursos en m s de 10 ciudades por los que han pasado m s de 1.500 alumnos. En el apartado de actividades de promoci n, la entidad tiene previsto impulsar 200 iniciativas en Audiovisual, Artes Esc nicas y M sica hasta el cierre del presente ejercicio.
Para el a o 2014, la actividad de la Fundaci n SGAE seguir atendiendo a los mismos objetivos propuestos y estar orientada hacia tres puntos fundamentales: los creadores j venes que est n comenzando su actividad profesional, aqu llos que est n a mitad de su carrera y los que han dedicado toda su vida a trabajar.
