WATCHEVER AND CBS STUDIOS INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCE STREAMING RIGHTS DEAL FOR UNDER THE DOME IN GERMANY Published on: 10/17/2013 | All 2013 Press Releases
Berlin, Germany, and Los Angeles, Calif., 17 October 2013 WATCHEVER and CBS Studios International today announced an exclusive multi-year licensing deal to stream the ground-breaking series UNDER THE DOME on the Watchever subscription video on demand service (SVOD) service starting in January 2014. The agreement will cover seasons one and two of the show, and will run after its initial presentation by the ProSiebensat.1 Group, where it has recently completed its first season and generated top ratings.

UNDER THE DOME, based on the book by Stephen King and produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television, is set in the fictional New England town of Chester's Mill, where an invisible force field, The Dome, separates the town from the rest of the world. The series stars Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Dean Norris, Natalie Martinez, Britt Robertson, Alexander Koch, Colin Ford, Nicholas Strong, Jolene Purdy and Aisha Hinds.
UNDER THE DOME is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television. Steven Spielberg, Stephen King, Neal Baer, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Stacey Snider, Brian K. Vaughan, and Jack Bender serve as executive producers.

WATCHEVER offers its subscribers unlimited streaming for TV shows and movies wherever, whenever and as often as they choose. WATCHEVER can be received via Apple TV, Smart TVs (Panasonic, LG, Philips and Samsung), tablets (iOS and Android), smartphones (iOS and Android), gaming consoles (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360), PC and Mac. Subscribers can select from an online video library of thousands of titles ranging from blockbusters to award winning TV shows, arthouse movies for children and adults alike in the German dubbed version and the respective original language version. Videos can be saved to an offline viewing mode in advance to view the titles without an Internet connection. The subscription for the online video service is priced at EUR 8.99 per month without any long-term commitment. The first month is offered as a free trial period to viewers.
