BPX Appointed as Schneider Electric Alliance Master Partner in Industrial Automation Distribution 12/05/2021

Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced that BPX, the distributor of industrial automation components has been appointed as a UK Alliance Master Industrial Automation Distributor (IAD).
The appointment is recognition of the level of expertise BPX holds in the industrial integration of Schneider Electric systems. BPX has the proven industrial automation solution knowledge, experience and capabilities to help Schneider Electric customers thrive in the future.
As an Alliance Master IAD, BPX are able to handle more advanced and complex industrial projects and deliver customised solutions to its customers. With five Master level professionals in the team, BPX are able to advise on product selection, applications, programming methods and best practices. BPX can provide technical support, help with communications and connectivity, remote maintenance access to automation equipment and simple and complex motion control.

Vice President Industrial Automation, Schneider Electric UK & Ireland
Mark has worked in the automation supply industry for over 25 years, joining Schneider Electric in 2015. Throughout his time in the Industry, Mark has driven the adoption of the latest robotics and autonomous systems, with an emphasis on embracing software collaboration and broadening technological horizons to meet ongoing challenges. He is currently responsible for Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Automation offer for Smart Machines and Factories and for Industrial Market Segments having had previous roles with Omron, Rockwell and ABB Robotics. Mark is passionate in driving forward Industrial Automation in the region, with a specific focus on increasing the uptake of interoperable automation software. While the sector has yet to feel the full benefits of digitalisation and automation, Mark will help to make its potential a reality, fueling the next phase of fast-paced growth in the UK and Ireland.
