Carousel by Tightrope Media Systems (TRMS) is a leader in the digital signage space. It all began in 1997 when TRMS Co-founder Andrew Starks was training high school teachers to use a digital bulletin board system to display messages for their students.
Starks noticed that when too much time passed between uses, the teachers forgot the way the system worked because the product was not user-friendly and creating digital signage was not their primary job.
This revelation led Starks and his business partner JJ Parker to develop Carousel-a digital signage solution so intuitive that busy people could use it to make fabulous looking displays the first time, after a long time, every time.
