Lagard re Sports score appointment to manage official Fan Zone during Euro 2016TM Lagard re Sports today announced it has been appointed by the Paris city council to manage the design, development and operations of the official fan zone on the Champ-de-Mars in Paris, during the UEFA Euro 2016 Championship held in France.
Fan zones will be set up in host cities of the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament. Following a consultation, the Paris city council awarded Lagard re Sports the planning, construction and operation rights for the fan area that will settle on the Champ-de-Mars from the 10th of June to the 10th of July 2016.
Lagard re Sports will build on the skills and expertise of the Lagard re Group to make the Fans City Area' of Paris a privileged place to welcome fans from all around the world. Lagard re Sports will also draw on the experience of Electron Libre Productions (a subsidiary of Lagard re Studios), for the organisation of concerts at the fan zone. Electron Libre Productions (Yannis Chebbi and Michael Kazan) specialises in the production and delivery of major music events including The Paris Concert' organised on Bastille day, The Concert for Tolerance', Europe 1 60th anniversary' (French radio) and the opening night of the Philharmonie de Paris'.
