GLOOKAST Appoints Edel Garcia as Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing and Partner

GLOOKAST today announced the appointment of Edel Garcia as Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing and Partner. In addition to building and maintaining relationships, Garcia will further refine and expand the company's market strategies.

Edel is an exceptional business professional and a great asset for any company in the media technology world. He has a unique blend of market and customer savvy, and technical depth. GLOOKAST needs a seasoned digital media executive capable of not only consolidating the growth we have been experiencing in the Americas but also to expand such growth into EMEA and Asia. Prior to joining GLOOKAST, Garcia was VP of Sales for Wohler Technologies Radiant Grid and director of sales, Latin America, for Avid, where he was responsible for sales of the companys professional product line. He earlier served as vice president of sales, Latin America, for Leitch, leading the sales and marketing team for the companys full product portfolio. At Sony Business & Professional Latin America, Garcia held roles both in engineering and, later, in senior sales management. He earned his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering at Florida International University.
