Stardraw announces increasing manufacturer support for Stardraw Control
Stardraw Control is the award-winning software application that allows you to create custom user interfaces that can control any remotely-controllable devices using any protocol. Support for new products within Stardraw Control is being announced almost daily as more and more manufacturers hasten to endorse the application.
The process of adding support for their products is free for manufacturers. They are simply asked to provide the protocol and function information necessary to create a driver for each individual device, or for a range of similar devices. The list of manufacturers for whom Stardraw.com has written discrete drivers currently stands at around twenty, and this number is growing apace. In addition to those products supported through specific drivers, many thousands more are supported by virtue of Stardraw Controls extensive database of Infra Red codes.
For systems integrators, one advantage of using Stardraw Control is that it frees them from closed or proprietary architectures and applications, offering instead the ability to create a single application that can control many different products with as much or as little complexity as the end user needs. Freedom of choice of interface units and other control hardware, combined with Stardraw Controls low-cost commercial model integrators can expect to pay, on average, a guideline price of $500 per system means that customized control systems are more affordable, opening up new markets and installation opportunities.
For manufacturers, Stardraw Controls open approach means that their products are instantly more accessible and easier to incorporate into integrated systems requiring software control.
