Spain Mediaset shareholders approved the payment of a dividend equivalent to the whole of the benefit of 2017La Junta de accionistas de Mediaset Espa a aprueba el pago de un dividendo equivalente a la totalidad del beneficio de 2017 obtenido por la compa a. Una empresa que en 2017 ha vuelto a ser la m s demandada por el p blico.
Con una audiencia acumulada del 28,7 por ciento entre todos sus canales, Mediaset Espa a cerr el ejercicio de 2017 con unos ingresos de explotaci n de 996 millones de euros, cuatro millones m s que en el ejercicio anterior. Los gastos de explotaci n han pasado de 767 millones y medio de euros en 2016 a 751 millones de euros en 2017 mientras que el resultado neto se situ en 197 millones de euros, frente a los 171 millones de euros obtenidos en 2016. La recuperaci n de los m rgenes operativos, basada en el incremento de los ingresos, y en el control de costes, han sido clave para cerrar este ejercicio con este beneficio.

Alejandro Echevarr a, presidente de Mediaset Espa a, ha destacado que 2017 ha sido un ejercicio con un comportamiento muy voluble con evoluciones trimestrales muy dispares, que pone de manifiesto un comportamiento a n cauteloso y t ctico por parte de los anunciantes .
Aun as , la publicidad televisiva sigue acaparando en 2017 una cuota del 40% del ntegro mercado publicitario, consolid ndose un a o m s como el principal soporte de la comunicaci n comercial; circunstancia que es ciertamente digna de resaltar en un a o en el que se ha hecho patente la pujanza de la publicidad on line, que ocupa ya una cuota del 28,9% del mercado , ha a adido.
El grupo Mediaset ha mantenido en 2017 la misma cuota de mercado publicitario que en 2016, un 43,3% seg n los datos de Infoadex, y ello teniendo en cuenta que en 2017 no se ha contado con eventos deportivos parangonables a la Eurocopa de F tbol 2016.
Por su parte, el consejero delegado, Paolo Vasile, ha subrayado que en un a o, el 2017, en el que se ha hablado tan negativamente -en parte por ignorancia y en parte por conveniencia- del futuro industrial de la televisi n comercial, Mediaset Espa a ha registrado su mejor dato de los ltimos nueve a os. Este gran resultado se debe por completo a la habilidad con la que el equipo directivo de Mediaset Espa a ha afrontado todos los desaf os y ha resuelto los m ltiples problemas que se han ido presentando en el transcurso del a o. A n m s m rito si consideramos que toda la inversi n publicitaria ha sido claramente inferior a las previsiones y, la relativa a la televisi n, se ha incrementado en apenas un 1% .
Un a o de gran gesti n, de utilizaci n medida y escrupulosa de los contenidos, de gran cohesi n y coordinaci n entre la parte editorial y la comercial. Este ltimo aspecto ha sido probablemente la clave m s relevante de un resultado extraordinario en un a o normal': la cuidadosa distribuci n de las inversiones en los horarios, targets y periodos del a o m s significativos para nuestros espectadores y nuestros clientes , ha se alado.
Sobre la entrada de nuevos actores en el sector, reconoce que debemos aprender a vivir junto a ellos y probar todos los caminos que nos llevan a una colaboraci n productiva para todos. En este sentido, en el ltimo a o hemos sentado bases s lidas para esta convivencia: a trav s de algunas de nuestras productoras participadas hemos comenzado a producir para Netflix y HBO, y hemos firmado ptimos contratos de venta de derechos de programas producidos por nuestros canales. Es el inicio de una nueva aventura, de una nueva l nea de negocio. Un ejemplo claro del modo de afrontar los inconvenientes que nos imponen el progreso o las instituciones es nuestra actividad de producci n cinematogr fica .
Por ltimo, Vasile ha rese ado que su centro de producci n en Fuencarral (Madrid) ha emprendido la ltima fase de su renovaci n t cnica, con avances tecnol gicos pioneros en materia de imagen, sonido y operatividad remota con las que la compa a pretende ampliar a n m s los contenidos de producci n propia. Este proyecto le ha valido a Mediaset la nominaci n al Premio Panorama a la instalaci n del a o.
