Nerd Street Gamers is entering 2022 with a new feather in the cap. Officially opened in November 2021, the Block - a 40,000 sq. ft. esports facility on Philadelphia's Broad Street - is now home to a 20,000 sq. ft. Localhost gaming center for amateur gaming and professional events, a studio for original programming, and additional room on the upper floors.
SVG's Kristian Hern ndez spoke with VP of Media Todd Berman and VP of Real Estate and Business Development Anthony Perno about the schedule of LAN and online events coming from this venue, the building's unique history in the city and how they constructed this space, plans for expansion in the coming years, and what can be done for the esports community in the future.
