Talented actor Bonko Khoza - who currently acts as Mqhele in Showmax's telenovela - The Wife has scored a leading role in a rom-com titled - 13 Weeks To Find Mr Right.

Khoza will star alongside Isibaya actress Lerato Mvelase, The Thrones Didi Khunou, newcomers Kea Zawadi and Mmonye Kunupi.

Khoza will play the role of Zakhele who wins the heart of a young journalist just like in The Wife.

According to savannanews.com, the series is centred around a Johannesburg journalist (Nkuli played by Kea Zawadi) who is in search of love.

Viewers will see Nkuli using her columns to meet the man she yearns for Zakhele.

The romance series is said to be jam-packed with laughter and fuzzy feels according to the publication.

BONKO KHOZA AS MQHELE Bonko Khoza who trends weekly for playing an abusive taxi driver husband to Hlomu has become one of Mzansi's most hated characters.

Mqhele has physically abused Hlomu (Mbali Mavimbela) his wife again.

The abuse had led to Mahlomu's miscarriage is driving her into her old boyfriend's arms.

Viewers now want Hlomu and Sandile to get back together and for Hlomu to leave his wife because he's damaged goods.

Mqhele has also refused to see a therapist for the trauma that he experienced when he was still a child.

Hlomu hasn't told Mqhele that she was pregnant and lost the baby yet.
