At BVE 2015 Polecam Systems will show the latest Polecam rigs, along with a collection of recently launched, highly desirable cameras and lenses including the new flagship Toshiba IK-HD5 and the IK-4KH minicam with the new Fujinon TF4XA-1 prime HD lens. Also on show will be the new Fujinon XT17SX4 with 17x zoom lens drive and control.
The Antelope PICO high speed ultra-motion minicam will be on show with its dedicated FishFace underwater housing and new lens drive.
The PICO minicam is capable of producing stunning ultra slow motion HD footage up to 350fps and can be mounted on a Polecam to give superb ultra Slo-Mo POV both above and below water.
A total of 5 Polecam rigs will be at the show and can be seen on the Polecam stand #C12, at the Kit-Plus Studio stand #P48 and, on the Shadowcam stand #E23 where it will be featuring the Shadowcam S-5 stabilised head.
If you are a programme maker and not using Polecam, then you really should be looking at what it can quickly do to elevate your output to another level. Polecam continues to offer a broad spectrum of crane platforms to suit all kinds of shooting and at all levels including 4K.
Polecam has a wide user base and the introduction of new features have brought entry level costs down. The rigs motorised heads have been upgraded to digital control enabling the use of larger high end cameras such as the Canon C300, Sony F5, 55 & 7, the Black Magic Design series, RED Epic, Panasonic 171 and all leading manufacturers of DSLRs including the Panasonic GH4. The modular build also provides a great platform for minicam manufacturers such as Antelope Pico, IO Industries , Panasonic, Toshiba and more, these can be flown out to a reach of 8m.

Also on show will be the Resolve 10x minicam HD zoom lens and the latest in PAG series batteries, chargers and accessories.
Steffan Hewitt and Stephen Rutherford from the UK team will be there, along with a number of top Polecam owner operators, any of whom will be happy to answer all your questions and demonstrate the kit. Its also an opportunity to get hands-on yourself with Polecam, but be warned within a few minutes you will probably want one.
Polecam Systems will be exhibiting at BVE 2015 on stand #C12 at London Excel, 24th 26th February.
Polecams attraction has always been a winning combination of portability, speed of rig/derig, which adds production value without hassle. Alternatively for those wishing to literally just add a camera then the Polecam Professional Pack (PPP) with either Long, Wide or Narrow head is ultimate camera crane system. Configured as 7th Heaven, the Polecam rig has an extended reach of 8m/26 and when fitted with a minicam, you can get right in close to where the action really is, giving a unique creative viewpoint to your productions.
