Weather forecast and UV index for all provinces Gauteng: Fine becoming partly cloudy and warm.

UVB sunburn index: High.

Mpumalanga: Partly cloudy in the east in the morning, otherwise fine and warm but hot in the Lowveld.

Limpopo: Partly cloudy in the east, otherwise fine and warm but hot in the Lowveld, Limpopo Valley and the south-western Bushveld.

North-West Province: Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon, but very hot in the west.

Free State: Warm in the eastern and the south eastern parts, otherwise fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon except in the south west.

Northern Cape: Cloudy and warm with morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise fine hot but very hot in the west, becoming partly cloudy in the north east. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly at first becoming fresh to strong south to south-easterly.

Western Cape: Cloudy with afternoon rain along the south coast otherwise fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy in places over the central and eastern interior. It will be cloudy with fog along the west coast and adjacent interior in the morning. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south to south-westerly becoming South-easterly from the afternoon but fresh along the west coast.

UVB index: Extreme.

Western half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy along the coast in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, with isolated thunderstorms in places in the north. It will become cloudy with rain along the Plettenberg Bay area in the evening. The wind along the coast will be Light and variable at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south westerly.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and warm but hot in places in the extreme east. It will become partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms, but scattered in the northern parts. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly, becoming fresh to strong south westerly in the afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal: Fine and hot but very hot in places over the interior, becoming partly cloudy from late afternoon. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming south-westerly from the south late afternoon.

UVB index: Extreme.
