American R&B and soul singer Macy Gray has come under fire after her remarks about the LGBTQI community. Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Monday 4 July, Gray said gender reassignment surgery doesn't make you a woman .

The Sweet Baby hitmaker has since said that her statement was grossly misunderstood and she has nothing but love for the LGBTQI and transgender communities.
