NETFLIX UNVEILS TRAILER FOR DUTCH THRILLER iHOSTAGE Directed by Bobby Boermans
Netflix unveils the trailer for iHostage, inspired by the hostage situation at the Apple Store in Amsterdam (2022). In the film, a man becomes unwittingly entangled in a life-threatening situation when an armed man takes a group of people hostage. Through various perspectives, a gripping drama unfolds about courage, survival, and the aftermath of terror. iHostage is directed by Bobby Boermans (The Golden Hour, Mocro Maffia), written by Simon de Waal (The Golden Hour, Sleepers), and produced by Horizon Film. The cast includes Admir ehovi , Soufiane Moussouli, Loes Haverkort, Marcel Hensema, Emmanuel Ohene Boafo, Fockeline Ouwerkerk, Matteo van der Grijn, and Thijs Boermans. iHostage will be available exclusively on Netflix starting April 18.
About iHostage iHostage is a gripping thriller inspired by the shocking 2022 hostage crisis at Amsterdams Apple Store. The film follows a Bulgarian man caught in a life-threatening ordeal as an armed assailant holds the buildings occupants hostage. Through the eyes of the attacker, the hostages, and the first responders, iHostage delivers a tense and emotional tale of courage, survival, and the lasting impact of terror.
