Enjoy more local and international premieres on Astro this Indian New Year

Astro customers can look forward to more exciting local and international premieres in celebration of the Indian New Year including a Carnatic concert, musical show, comedy telemovie, educational capsules, refreshed news and current affairs show, romantic drama film and more on TV, Astro GO and On Demand. All Malaysians can also enjoy Indian New Year specials on RAAGA radio via on-air and on the SYOK app.

Musical show Shanthesh Kaigeh; first local Tamil medical series, Virus; and refreshed Astro Seithigal, news and current affairs show, on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202).

Animation film Motu Patlu in Double Trouble; and Malayalam thriller film, Kuruthi on Astro Vaanavil (Ch 201).

Game shows, Super Queens vs Super Stars and Aaha Kalyanam; debate show, Pattimandram; and cooking show, Damaal Dumeel Kitchen on Zee Tamil HD (Ch 223).

Action film, Pushpa on Star Vijay HD (Ch 221).

Additionally, all Astro customers can enjoy the upgraded Astro Vellithirai channel in HD on TV (Ch 203) from 14 April, featuring premiering Tamil blockbuster films such as Sarpatta Parambarai and Carbon.

On the radio front, RAAGA fans can enjoy a special multi-lingual new year song featuring lyrics in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Punjabi.
