Aarau, Switzerland 29 January 2013 Digital asset management (DAM) software maker Picturepark will sponsor the Createasphere digital asset management expo in Los Angeles on February 27-28, 2013. The company will showcase its new content-focused approach to digital asset management, a unique DAM architecture introduced with Picturepark 8.4.
During the event, Picturepark Global Marketing Director, David Diamond, will be featured on a Createasphere discussion panel entitled DAM is Not Software.
DAM software prospects are too often pushed into DAM software purchases before they understand much about Digital Asset Management, Diamond explained. The aim of this panel is to help make clear that many aspects of Digital Asset Management have little or nothing to do with software.
Diamond authored DAM Survival Guide, a digital asset management book that acts as a primer for those getting started with Digital Asset Management. He was recently selected as one of DAM's Top Influencers for 2013 by ConceptShare.
Working the Picturepark booth will be Picturepark Product Marketing Manager Victor Cardoso, who recently joined Picturepark from WoodWing, and Jon Hornstein, CEO of Picturepark Premiere Partner, Modula4.
