With the growing need for large capacity and high performance storage solution within the post production industry, Accusys ExaSAN and Seagate, the two leaders in storage field had tested and jointly announced that the Seagate ST6000NM0034 SAS 6TB HDDs is compatible with the whole ExaSAN product family and makes it more powerful than ever. Especially for the ExaSAN A16S3-PS RAID storage, while configured with the Seagate enterprise SAS drives, it can provide a reading performance up to 2685MB/s and a writing speed at an average of 1840MB/s when processing a 10bit 16 GB 4K file, which makes the storage solution a powerful support for post production experts.
The ExaSAN storage system takes full advantage of the PCI Express protocol throughout the storage path. While specially configured with 8 to 16 Seagate ST6000NM0034 6TB SAS HDDs, the work station is able to deliver more than twice the performance of Thunderbolt interface, offering both impressive speed and capacity. However, it doesn't stop here, the RAID storages support not only PCIe but also Thunderbolt 2, makes it not just powerful, but also versatile.
The Seagate ST6000NM0034 hard drive as long as its enterprise HDD product lines are selected by IT Brand plus as Market leader in two consecutive years. The 3.5 6TB SAS hard drives deliver high capacity without sacrificing performance for reliable access to bulk storage of unstructured data. It provides fast response and RAID rebuild time, and is specifically designed and built for data center environments.
