We are proud to announce that we have won the CSI Award 2019 for best monitoring or network management solution with our remote PHY monitoring solution. Established in 2003, the CSI awards are among the most prestigious and competitive technology awards in the industry, designed to recognise and reward innovation and excellence in the cable, satellite, broadcast, IPTV, telco, broadband/OTT video, mobile TV and associated sectors.
We are honored and delighted to have received the CSI Award for our remote PHY monitoring solution , says Johan G rsj , Director of Product Management at Agama Technologies.
The cable industry is moving ever closer to an all IP world. To meet increasing capacity needs, operators are turning to the remote PHY architecture, allowing them to streamline growth and create competitive high-speed offerings. To assure optimal viewing experience, full insight into video quality and performance in the distribution chain is needed, also in a remote PHY topology, in both the roll-out phase and daily operation.
The addition of DEPI capable Analyzer probes to Agama's full-service assurance solution gives cable TV operators complete insight and transparency into the quality of DEPI encapsulated video services used between the CCAP core and RPDs in next-generation cable plants based on remote PHY architectures. The solution is completely software based with full support for virtualization, making it the future proof solution for next-generation cable services. Agama's DEPI Analyzers provide unique, in-depth insights into the DEPI tunnels and the contained muxes and services - including full TR290 on each and every video stream.
The CSI Awards is organised by CSI Magazine (Cable and Satellite International Magazine).
