Founded in 1978, the company is committed to designing and manufacturing dependable, cost-effective, and creative solutions for broadcast studio, stadium, and corporate environments. Product categories include fiber-optic transport, intercom and IFB interfaces, announcer consoles, and loudspeaker monitor control systems. Its growing line of Dante-enabled Audio-over-Ethernet products is receiving wide recognition.

This past September, Studio Technologies' Model 371 Dante-enabled Intercom Beltpacks and Model 5422 Dante Intercom Audio Engine were implemented at Bristol Motor Speedway, a massive 2.5-square-mile complex that hosts up to 165,000 spectators at events such as NASCAR races, monster truck events, and college football games. Nashville-based professional audio equipment and services company Spectrum Sound provides sound reinforcement for the facility, along with updating and maintaining its vast audio system. Spectrum turned to Studio Technologies' products to introduce a completely flexible comms system, while also taking advantage of the existing fiber-based IP infrastructure.

Studio Technologies was also in action at The Ryder Cup, a biennial men's golf competition between teams from Europe and the United States. Last year's competition used a variety of equipment from Studio Technologies, including the company's Dante-enabled Model 370 Intercom Beltpacks and Model 380 On-Air Beltpacks.

The large field of play required everything to be done on fiber, with six different comms locations available for immediate chat with the truck. Leading mobile television facilities provider Proshow Broadcast was subcontracted to provide on-course communications solutions, and as a user of Studio Technologies' products since 2008 when it built its first mobile production truck, Proshow once again called upon the company's range of Dante-enabled audio equipment to smoothly accomplish this distinct production.
