Dada su impresionante trayectoria y amplia experiencia en el sector, estamos seguros de que Vince est especialmente calificado para dirigir a UCI durante su pr xima fase de crecimiento , dijo en un comunicado el presidente de la junta ejecutiva de UCI, Haim Saban.
Para aquellos de ustedes que no conocen a Vince, l es un veterano del sector de medios que recientemente se desempe como director general de Media General y anteriormente, de LIN Media. Tambi n tiene mucha experiencia valiosa en medios en espa ol pues previamente fue director ejecutivo de finanzas y tesorero de Telemundo .
El nuevo CEO de UCI empezar en su cargo el pr ximo viernes 1 de junio, cuando Falco deje en sus manos la conducci n del conglomerado.
En su comunicado, Saban alab la labor de Falco, quien se desempe como director ejecutivo de UCI desde 2011.
Quiero expresarle mi gratitud a Randy por dirigir la Compa a durante un periodo de enormes cambios en el sector. Randy ha sido un pilar fundamental en el xito de UCI y, en nombre de toda la junta directiva, quiero agradecerle por los aportes que hizo no solo a Univision, sino a toda la comunidad a la que prestamos servicios .
Falco, quien se mantendr hasta finales de a o como asesor de la junta directiva, distribuy un comunicado despidi ndose de los empleados de la corporaci n, asegurando que su trabajo al frente de UCI ha sido el gran honor de mi carrera .
La mayor a de ustedes saben que, a principios de a o, tras pensarlo y evaluarlo detenidamente, tom la dif cil decisi n de jubilarme y dejar mi cargo de presidente y director ejecutivo. Desde que le mencion a la Junta Directiva esta dif cil decisi n, sus miembros me han apoyado mucho y se han esmerado por encontrar a mi sucesor. Despu s de una intensa b squeda, ha llegado el momento de que me jubile oficialmente y le entregue las riendas al nuevo l der, Vincent Sadusky .
Era muy importante para m dejar a la Compa a en buenas manos y con un claro y exitoso camino por delante, y estoy seguro de que estoy haciendo precisamente eso .
Falco destac el compromiso de Univision con la comunidad hispana estadounidense y c mo ha debido salir muchas veces en su defensa ante representaciones inexactas y llenas de odio sobre los inmigrantes .
