The second-annual SVG Sports OTT Forum, which will be held at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway in New York City, is just over two weeks away! On Thursday, July 25, the forum will bring together traditional broadcasters, digital-native sports-media companies, major professional leagues, technology vendors, and others to discuss the pressing issues in the live-sports-streaming business, including technology challenges such as latency, piracy, and ad insertion.

Among this year's program highlights is a panel discussion that will put a few of the major new direct-to-consumer live-streaming sports companies in the spotlight.

The D2C Newcomers: The Challenges and Opportunities of Digital-Native Media Entities
As direct-to-consumer subscription streaming products gain favor with some sports fans, digital-native startups are quickly becoming full-fledged sports-media companies. With that comes all the challenges of delivering major live sports properties at scale for hungry fans across the country and even across the world. Leaders from a few of these key organizations dissect their technological strategies and offer a peek into what makes their world unique.
