Hartmut Opfermann is New Head of Broadcast IT at BFE posted: 14/11/2017

Since November 1st 2017, Hartmut Opfermann is managing the division Broadcast-IT Systems at BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH in Mainz.

Hartmut Opfermann has already been head of the division software and network systems at BFE from 2001 until 2007. After switching to Dimentis, where he held different positions, he worked for Dimension Data Germany as a Solution Architect for seven years managing projects in transferring audio and video streams via IP in studio and playout environments.

He will take over the responsibilities of Markus Greiter, who will focus more on his tasks as CTO in the future.

With Hartmut we get the best of both worlds: a manager with knowledge in IT as well as the broadcast sector. Through his experience in both industries he has a proven track record of projects in enterprise-IT, broadcast and with service providers.
