Cixi Launches ree Major Projects to Promote Commercial Circulation

Commercial circulation, as an industry that links consumption endpoint, is closely related to the general public's daily life. Boosting business industry especially the residential living service sector, is a key element in ensuring and improving people's livelihood. As it is learned from Cixi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Cixi will step up the construction of Three Projects this year, namely, improving quality, accelerating circulation and protecting consumption. This will further optimize consumption environment, improve consumption experience and support the development of business industry.

Cixi's business industry is still scattered, small and weak ,to change that radically, improving quality is crucial. In 2016, Cixi will keep encouraging large commercial entities to incorporate high-end business brands themed with fast fashion, pushing forward the construction of China Calxon Group living room project, Chengdong Time Square project, Jiayue Square project and Ocean City project. In the meantime,Cixi will also encourage district governments to transform and improve traditional commercial blocks, set up featured blocks, and accelerate the cultivation of featured commercial blocks such as Lv Cheng Ci Yuan featured block and Bao Li Shui Jie in particular. Cixi has already been the home to 1 national featured commercial block and 3 municipal featured commercial block.As for Moonlight Economy (economy that flourishes in night markets), Cixi will focus on the construction of Cixi Bao Li Mall featured block and the improvement and upgrade of Shang Lin Fang featured block. Besides, Hushan town Ximen market, Cixi city Ming He farmers' market, Longshan county, Sanbei county and Tianyang village comprehensive market will form the 2016 provincial trustworthy farmers' market.

While boosting the circulation acceleration project, Guanweihai town, Zhouxiang town, Longshan town, Xiaolin town and Chongshou town will use their advantages as commercial centers to build themselves into five patterns according to their local conditions. To be more specific, the five patterns are comprehensive service,industry-leading, modern residential, travel and leisure, transportation hub. At the same time, Cixi will strive to develop commercialized community, guide commercial activities such as chain convenient stores into community, build Baoli Neighborhood Center and promote the use of express buffet cabinet. In regard to consumption promotion, in 2016, Cixi will push forward the innovation, transformation and upgrade of supermarkets, guide brick-and-mortar businesses to transform to O2O(online to offline) modes, encourage department store supermarkets to develop their own products, increase the rate of proprietary trading, and enrich consumers' shopping experiences. Consumer protection project is the top priority of caring for people's livelihood and promote social stability. In 2016, Cixi will strengthen the construction of municipal vegetable basket base, explore new modes such as direct sales, direct delivery for vegetables, and boost the establishment of farm food pilot in community. At the same time, the construction of Fang Xin Gui (trustworthy cabinet) and provincial trustworthy farmers' market will help consolidate a business food safety system.
