Virgin Media to live stream V Festival straight to the living room

Virgin Media today announced Rudimental and Hospital Records (All Stars) will headline its Our House stage at V Festival on Sunday 17th August, in Hylands Park, Chelmsford. And, for the first time ever, the sound-clash will be streamed live on Virgin Media's YouTube channel.

Powered by Virgin Media's superfast broadband network and with seven cameras capturing the action, viewers can tune in toa unique sound-clash between Rudimental and Hospital Records (All Stars), London Elektricity, Danny Byrd, Fred V & Grafix and Dynamite MC, hosted by MistaJam, on Sunday 17th August. Fans will be able to catch the show on a PC, tablet or mobile device through Virgin Media's YouTube channel.

Chelmsford festival-goers can look forward to a stellar line-up across the whole weekend, including Naughty Boy, Shy FX and Redlight, Meanwhile, Staffordshire revellers will be treated to performances from artists including Sub Focus and Hannah Wants.

Our House is free to all festival-goers and will be at both sites Weston Park, Staffordshire and Hylands Park, Chelmsford. The space will be powered by Virgin Medias superfast broadband so fans can share their experience straight from the venue, as well as offering mobile recharge points. Virgin Media will be also offering free WiFi across the site so fans can stay in touch with friends at the festival or family at home. Plus Virgin Media Angels will also be across the sites, providing a helping hand from directions to the stages to helping with luggage.

On-site Virgin Media customers will be treated to their own exclusive chill-out area Our Garden situated next to Our House. Those lucky enough to be in Our Garden can expect lots of special treats over the weekend, including chances to win amazing experiences such as access to the side of the stage to watch V Festival acts.
