DVS & BLT Strengen their HyperMotion Partnership

(12/04/2014) At NAB 2014 in Las Vegas, Digital Video Sud (DVS), provider of ultra slow motion services, and BLT Italia, manufacturer of Broadcast video servers, strengthen their collaboration by introducing a sports package which includes the ultra slow motion camera SuperLoupe HD and BLT's HyperMotion Server.

Aram Novoyan, General Manager at DVS: Working on the Italian market for many years (since 1999) we had the opportunity to discover and appreciate the quality of the BLT products on major events, which naturally led us to collaborate on the controller system HyperMotion SuperLoupe HD very successful worldwide. This is why we own many HyperMotion controllers from BLT. The BLT controllers are the most responsive ones on the market and this is essential on live sport events. The NAB show gives us the opportunity to go further in our work together by offering our customers a complete package HyperMotion including the BLT video server.

In order to lead the technology evolution in our industry towards higher frame rate acquisition, particularly appreciated in the field of sports, we started our product interoperability trials. We developed a dedicated control suite that is especially suited to live sport productions where reaction time plays a key role. This result can only be achieved by means of a tight development team connection, like the one we reached with DVS. At this NAB we are showing a complete package that includes acquisition (from DVS) and HyperMotion playout through BLT Server.
