Arvato Systems provides Austrian TV stations with the Avatega broadcast management solution
With this project, Arvato Systems covers the entire project spectrum: from consulting to integration to maintenance
(Arvato Systems) G tersloh - Arvato Systems supplies W24 and national television and content marketers R9 (both members of WH Medien GmbH) with the Arvato Systems Avatega broadcast management solution. Both entities will continue to use this powerful software solution in the future to manage their linear and non-linear program scheduling with the aim of promoting the digitization of companies with BMS Avatega. Working closely with WH Medien, Arvato Systems successfully completed the project in only three months.
Optimal channel management using BMS Avatega
"Avatega never fails to impress, because it meets all the requirements that TV stations have for their broadcast scheduling", explains Alexander Franke, Sales Manager at Arvato Systems. By using Avatega, W24 and R9 benefit from more efficient management and business processes, flexible rights and license management, clearer budgetary planning, and smoother workflows. This includes program acquisition, program scheduling and materials management as well as the distribution of content via various playout platforms.
Targeted programming that fulfills audience desires
"The ability to link the planning of linear and non-linear programs and shows in Avatega is a particular advantage for us, because were able to meet the needs of our audience in a targeted and flexible manner", says Thomas Mischek, Managing Director of WH Digital GmbH. Vienna broadcaster W24 is Austrias most popular and fastest growing metropolitan TV station. R9 is an association of all regional broadcasters in Austria as well as national television and content marketers reaching over 2.5 million Austrians per month.
From consulting to maintenance
Arvato Systems provides the media companies with end-to-end project support that ranges from consulting, process and structure analysis to the implementation of Avatega. This includes, in addition to the connection to the playout automation provider ToolsOnAir and the newsroom system Open Media, which Arvato Systems is familiar with from its own close partnership with Annova Systems, the connection to the stations advertising time sales system." Meeting the timetable for implementation was the biggest challenge facing Arvato Systems, but thanks to their experience and expertise, the work was completed, as usual, on time and without any problems. This proven team of IT experts from Cologne will also continue to provide the broadcasters in Austria with maintenance and support beyond the go-live.
