Hamish Blake to host Alone Australia Season 2: The Reunion on 29 May

Alone Australia Season 2 has cemented its place as one of the standout TV hits of 2024 and has become the most watched show on SBS this year. Off the back of this success, SBS is excited to announce popular comedian, podcaster, TV Presenter and Alone super fan Hamish Blake will host a special one-hour program Alone Australia Season 2: The Reunion.
The final episode of Alone Australia Season 2 premieres on Wednesday 29 May at 7.30pm and culminates with Alone Australia Season Two: The Reunion at 8.30pm exclusively on SBS and SBS On Demand.
Alone Australia Season 2: The Reunion brings the entire cast together for the first time since they were dropped into the extreme and wild terrain of New Zealand's South Island (Aotearoa's Te Waipounamu), having to survive completely isolated from the world and each other, and stripped of modern possessions and comforts.
Join Andreas, Chace, Jack, Jason, Krzysztof, Leanne, Mike, Rick, Suzan and Tamika as they compare their strategies and experiences for the very first time, reveal the toughest struggles they faced and are shown surprising, unseen footage.
Host of Alone Australia Season 2: The Reunion Hamish Blake said: I, like everyone, get so invested in every season of Alone whilst watching smugly from the comfort of my own couch. I have so much respect for the contestants and so many things I want to ask them as a viewer, again, from a couch but this time one in a studio with them. I hope our conversation has far more trouts than eels in it and if you don't get that reference maybe don't watch .

The nation has once again followed the highs and lows of our incredible cast over the past eight weeks and been captivated by their raw and authentic stories. Now, Alone superfan Hamish Blake will bring them together for this special reunion program. Expect tears, laughter, and exclusive never-before-seen footage of their experience.

Alone Australia Season 2 continues Wednesdays 7.30pm on SBS and is available to stream for free on SBS On Demand. The final episode premieres Wednesday 29 May at 7.30pm and culminates with Alone Australia Season Two: The Reunion at 8.30pm.
