Death of the director and producer lvaro de Aguinaga Dirigi y realiz programas como Buenas tardes', De la A a la Z', Investigaci n en marcha', Fin de semana', Vamos a la mesa', La Ruta Quetzalt' o Con las manos en la masa', programa de su propia creaci n. El director y realizador de televisi n lvaro de Aguinaga falleci este mi rcoles 24 de mayo en Madrid. Miembro de la Academia de las Ciencias y las Artes de Televisi n, comenz su carrera period stica como reportero-c mara en Paseo de la Habana, donde entr de la mano de Manuel Mart n Ferrand. Colabor en los informativos, bajo las rdenes de Jos de las Casas, hasta 1962. En ese mismo a o se fue a Alemania con una beca de ayudante de realizaci n en la WDR de Colonia. All , pas por las etapas de director de grabaci n (Aufnahmeleiter), realizador y director art stico. En esta etapa realiz dos pel culas para televisi n, Der Feigling und die D nzerin and Tim Fraser. En 1963 pas a integrarse en el departamento pol tico cuyo director era el Dr. Kronzucker, con el que realiz varios documentales en Espa a, Marruecos, Canarias y Guinea Espa ola.
Simult neamente, a partir del a o 1963, cre y dirigi un programa informativo en lengua espa ola para Espa a en la emisora de ondas cortas (Deutsche Welle) en la que permaneci hasta su regreso a Espa a en 1965. Ese mismo a o volvi a TVE y a partir de este momento realiz varios programas.
Fue reportero de A toda plana, donde hizo un total de 27 reportajes de todo tipo como La droga en el deporte, Esp as en la OTAN, La guerra de los Seis D as, Suez en la encrucijada y muchos m s.
Tambi n dirigi y realiz un programa que se titul Espa a al d a, otra serie de programas denominado La hora de Europa, ambos reportajes y documentales de las provincias espa olas y de los pa ses de Europa occidental.
Despu s de los informativos, pas a lo que se denominaba rea de Programas. Dirigi y realiz programas como Buenas tardes, De la A a la Z, Investigaci n en marcha, Fin de semana, Vamos a la mesa y muchos m s hasta La Ruta Quetzalt and Con las manos en la masa, programa de su propia creaci n. Hizo tambi n Your turn con Jes s Hermida y particip como realizador de reportajes en programas como Siempre en domingo and Tarde para todos con Manolo M. Ferrand y Jos Luis Colina.
Ha sido jefe de emisiones y realizador-coordinador del centro de Castila-La Mancha desde su creaci n, a las rdenes de Jos Mar n Quesada.
