RT and Virgin Media Television announce new four-year broadcast deal to secure free-to-air Six Nations coverage for fans

RT and Virgin Media Television have today (Tuesday 2 September 2025) announced a new broadcast agreement which will see the Six Nations remain on free-to-air TV through 2029.

The two broadcasters will continue to provide fans with access to the Guinness Men's, Women's and the U20 Six Nations, with every game live.

Over the next four years, fixtures from each edition of the three Championships will be shared equally by the two Irish broadcasters, with confirmation of how the matches will be shared set to follow.

RT will also hold audio and radio rights to the Men's Six Nations until 2029.
