Statement from the BBC regarding KCET

We are delighted to announce that the BBC has extended its existing distribution agreement with KCET. KCET will continue to syndicate selected BBC World News bulletins and the corporations award-winning flagship U.S. newscast BBC World News America, anchored by Katty Kay to Public Television stations in the U.S.

The 30-minute programmes deliver daily in-depth reports and analysis on the major international news stories as well as provide a unique insight into events across the U.S.

PBS stations have been carrying programming from the BBCs international news since 1998.

This renewal agreement, providing U.S. audiences with the opportunity to see distinct parts of the BBCs international output, complements the partnerships the BBC has with major U.S. multichannel video providers to distribute BBC World News, the BBCs 24-hour international news channel.
