Sky Sports has extended its partnership with the SPFL for three more seasons, further strengthening an unrivalled schedule of football.
The deal that runs through to the end of the 2019/2020 season will ensure Sky Sports viewers are guaranteed up to 30 live matches each season from the Scottish top flight.
Sky Sports has covered Scottish football since the channel first started, and this new deal will take that coverage to almost 30 years.
Sky Sports kicked off the current season with champions Celtic at home to Ross County, showing the first Dundee derby three days later, and last season's promotion hopefuls Rangers and Hibernian in action before the end of August.
Sky Sports Managing Director Barney Francis said: Were delighted to extend our partnership with the SPFL, taking our coverage of Scottish football to almost 30 years with this deal. The SPFL is a major part of our unrivalled football schedule, in addition to the Scottish Cup and Scotlands UEFA Euro 2016 and FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers.
Sky Sports coverage of the SPFL is hosted by David Tanner with expert analysis from Neil McCann, Davie Provan and Andy Walker. The latest news from Scottish football is covered on Sky Sports News HQ and across SkySports.com and the wider digital platforms.
This year Sky Sports has secured a number of major rights deals, including Premier League for four more years, Open Championship golf from 2017, England cricket tours with Pakistan and Bangladesh, Matchroom boxing until 2021, La Liga and Major League Soccer.
SPFL will be available to Sky Sports subscribers wherever they are on mobile, laptop and selected tablets via Sky Go. Non-subscribers can also see matches without a contract through online streaming service NOW TV. By purchasing a Sky Sports Day Pass for £6.99 or Sky Sports Week Pass for £10.99, fans can enjoy access to all seven Sky Sports channels and watch on a TV with a NOW TV Box or on a range of devices.
