The Queen recently surprised its viewers by giving actors Loyiso McDonald and his on-screen wife Zenande Mfenyane (Goodness Mabuza) a proper send-off.

McDonald and Mfenyane left the show just a few weeks after the tragic exits of Thato Maake (Xolani Mayekiso) and Mpho Sebata (Ntando Duma) on the popular Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen.

The channel announced that the 33-year-old actor would be leaving the show to pursue other endeavours.

MacDonald has entertained our viewers over the past five seasons and over the years many of them have fallen in love with his character.

As Mzansi Magic, we would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him well in his future plans. It is always sad when talent leaves a show.

However, that is the nature of the business. It also means we are a platform that grows individuals to be more daring and more explorative.

KAGISO AND GOODNESS MIGHT RETURN Fans are assuming that Kagiso Khoza will return to The Queen because he was given a proper send-off unlike his on-screen sister Dineo Langa who played the role of Kea Khoza.

They also predict that his on-screen wife Zenande Mfenyane will return to the show as she was the last Mabuza left.

Characters that were killed tragically

Xolani Mayekiso's (Thato Maake) character died after discovering that Hector Sebata (Rapulana Seiphemo) who is marrying Vuyiswa Maake (Zandile Msutwana) killed his uncle Jerry Maake (Jerry Maake).

Hector who is also Tembisa's police station colonel shot and killed Thato because he didn't want the truth to come out.

Other actors that got killed include Ntando Duma who played the role of Mpho Sebata and Rami Chuene who played the role of Tgom Mabuza.
