Dell EMC held its annual conference under the motto Realize Your Digital FutureM s de 25 conferencias y una zona de exposici n con 45 stands han mostrado en el Dell EMC F rum las ltimas tendencias que posibilitan la necesaria transformaci n de los negocios al nuevo entorno digital.
Dell EMC ha reunido en Madrid a m s de 2.000 clientes y partners en la segunda edici n de Dell EMC F rum, el evento anual de referencia para los profesionales del sector tecnol gico. Bajo el lema Realize Your Digital Future, este encuentro se ha venido celebrando en 65 ciudades de todo el mundo a lo largo del a o, con el objetivo de ofrecer respuestas concretas a los retos a los que empresas y organismos p blicos se enfrentan cada d a en sus procesos de transformaci n digital.
La apertura del evento ha corrido a cargo de los directores generales de Dell EMC en Espa a, Ricardo Labarga e Isabel Reis. Ricardo Labarga, director general de Dell EMC Commercial Business en Espa a, ha centrado su intervenci n en los cuatro pilares en los que se asienta la nueva era que surge ahora: Transformaci n Digital, Transformaci n de las TI, Transformaci n del Puesto de Trabajo y Transformaci n de la Seguridad. Son cuatro reas sobre las que toda organizaci n debe trabajar para poder hacer realidad el cambio, y dentro del sector tecnol gico solo Dell EMC cuenta con la capacidad necesaria para abarcar todas ellas .
Esto ha sido posible gracias a la fusi n de Dell y EMC hace poco m s de un a o, dando origen al nacimiento de Dell Technologies, un grupo que incluye la innovaci n de Dell, Dell EMC, Pivotal, RSA, SecureWorks, Virtustream y VMware, todas en una nica familia de negocios alineados de forma estrat gica, cada una actuando con independencia, pero trabajando de forma cercana. Esta estructura nica nos permite innovar como una startup, pero con la capacidad de una potencia global , concluye Labarga.
Para Isabel Reis, directora general de Dell EMC Enterprise Business en Espa a y Portugal, ninguna otra compa a del sector tecnol gico est tan bien posicionada como Dell EMC para convertirse en socio estrat gico de sus clientes, al brindarles una experiencia probada y las soluciones de infraestructura que abarcan todo el ecosistema de TI, desde el extremo hasta el n cleo y la nube. Aportando, adem s, unas opciones de financiaci n flexibles que les permiten maximizar los recursos y minimizar los riesgos. Apostar por Dell EMC significa convertir las posibilidades de transformaci n del negocio en una realidad .

Hacer realidad el futuro digital
Dell EMC Forum ha contado este a o con la presencia de Gaurav Chand, vicepresidente senior de Global Solutions Marketing de Dell EMC. En su intervenci n, Chand explic c mo las Tecnolog as de la Informaci n han dejado de ser un rea de soporte en el desarrollo del negocio para convertirse en parte indisoluble del mismo, afirmando que la innovaci n tecnol gica avanza a un ritmo exponencial, impulsando una nueva era de transformaci n digital. Estamos viendo c mo las organizaciones est n utilizando la tecnolog a para replantear sus modelos de negocio y cambiar totalmente la realidad de sus sectores de actividad .
Sin embargo, seg n Gaurav Chand, a este proceso le queda a n mucho recorrido. La mayor a de los l deres de TI nos dicen que sus iniciativas de transformaci n a n est n comenzando o evolucionando. Muchos de ellos no pueden destinar los recursos necesarios a la innovaci n de TI con la suficiente rapidez, con lo que sus organizaciones corren el riesgo de quedarse atr s. Otros se encuentran con infraestructuras tecnol gicas limitadas, lo que supone una barrera a la hora de alcanzar sus objetivos comerciales . Para todos ellos, Chand tiene un mensaje de esperanza: en Dell EMC nos comprometemos a trabajar codo con codo con estas organizaciones para superar esos desaf os y hacer realidad el futuro digital de todas ellas.
