Sharjah Media Centre (SMC), the media and communication arm of the government of Sharjah, is starting its activities in Media and Marketing Show (MMS) with topics around media starting from Tuesday, November 4 till November 6.
SMC will tackle on the first day of the Show through a session, the media progression and its importance to the development of the Emirate of Sharjah in addition to promoting the emirate as the cultural capital of the U.A.E. as well as the cultural capital for all Arab and Islamic States.
A large number of media professionals from local, regional and international media organisations and visitors are expected to attend the session. SMC will state on SMC's vision; discuss recent media accomplishments and future plans. It will define the latest developments witnessed in government communication and relationships. SMC's most recent releases and issues will be revealed by senior officials attending the show.
Further topics on the agenda will comprise the Arabic and international media presence within the emirate Sharjah and achievements, the emirate has accomplished on the Arab and international media arena. Furthermore developments in the media, the media strategy and plans of Sharjah, and aspirations for the future will be part of the session.
Officials featured in the session on the opening of MMS are His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Centre; His Excellency Osama Samra, Director Sharjah Media Centre; His Excellency Ahmed Salem Bosamnoh, Board Member of Sharjah Media Corporation; His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Midfa, Director of Sharjah TV and Radio; His Excellency Mohamed Khalaf, Director of Sharjah Radio; and Hassan Yaqub, Moderator of the conference.
As the strategic partner of MMS, Sharjah Media Centre will showcase the importance of participating in such media events and aims to continue building bridges between Sharjah and the different means of domestic and international mass communication in order to engage a meaningful dialogue and express the latest developments within international media.
The Media and Marketing Show, which held its 7th edition as the region's premier event for the media and marketing industry with over 100 exhibitors and more than 9,000 expected visitors, will support Sharjah Media Centre to foster relationships between various media and visitors.
