MilkBoy Launches Shake Audio Post with Award-Winning Sound Designer Mark Schultz, CAS

The Studio founders Tommy Joyner and Jamie Lokoff have partnered with Emmy Award-winning Sound Designer Mark Schultz, CAS, to launch their latest venture, premium audio post production enterprise Shake Audio Post at MilkBoy.

Shake Audio Post at MilkBoy combines the recording and engineering chops of musician Joyner and the writing and composing savvy of Lokoff with Schultz's expertise in sound design for film, network, and commercial clients. Schultz, formerly of Post Perfect and most recently, Suite Spots Studios, comes to Shake with 30 years of music and television production experience on Emmy , Telly, CINE, ProMax, and ADDY award-winning projects.

Tommy and I have a long partnership in composing and creating music for everything from broadcast advertising to movie scores, says Lokoff. We also have a successful studio where top-tier musicians and celebrated music artists love to record. The next logical step was to have an onsite leading edge post studio, complete with world-class talent. Thats where Mark comes in.

Shake is the client-centric audio post division carved out of MilkBoy the Studio's expansive site. Shake's luxurious 700 square foot space is equipped with Westlake Audio BBSM Series Reference Monitors as well as 7.1-surround mixing and has already seen its fair share of traffic.

Shake won six ADDY Awards this April including four Gold awards and one Best in Show. Most recently, Shake produced, recorded and directed the music and audio production for Dockers

digital campaign, featuring Taye Diggs, created by agency Red Tettemer O'Connell + Partners.

As part of MilkBoy Entertainment, Lokoff and Joyner also share co-producer credits with Academy Award -winner Tammy Tiehel-Stedman and Brian OConnor (www.ArkivMusic.com) on the recently completed feature-length film Slow Learners, starring Adam Pally (The Mindy Project) and Sarah Burns. The film has been acquired by Sundance Selects and the release date will be announced in August 2015.

Since 1994, MilkBoy the Studio has recorded scores of musical stars through its Philadelphia-based studios including Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and most recently James Taylor.
