Michaela Tod to leave ProSiebenSat.1 Entertainment in summer for private reasons
Unterfoehring, February 12, 2020: Michaela Tod has decided to leave ProSiebenSat.1 for private reasons as of July 31, 2020. Together with Wolfgang Link, Michaela Tod is heading the 2.6 billion euros entertainment segment of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE as Co-CEO and is responsible for managing the commercial business. In this role, she has strongly driven the growth of the digital and smart advertising business (+37 percent in revenues in Q3 2019) and accelerated the expansion of the addressable TV business. Alongside with Wolfgang Link, Co-CEO Entertainment, she has thus consistently advanced the transformation of the entertainment business.
Max Conze, Chief Executive Officer of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE: Wolfgang and Michaela have set up a future-ready Entertainment pillar and efficiently positioned it so that we can now respond to the needs of our customers and viewers in a much more agile way. The management of the Entertainment pillar and the broad range of topics by two Co-CEOs has proven itself. I very much regret Michaelas decision.
