
Interxion will build a third data center in 2500 m 2 and 5 MW of power in MadridJunto al nuevo centro de datos en Madrid ( MAD3 ), Interxion pondr en marcha un segundo centro en Bruselas y ampliar los ya existentes en msterdam, Par s, Copenhague, Estocolmo y Viena.
El proveedor especializado en centros de datos neutrales, Interxion, ha iniciado un ambicioso proyecto de expansi n en siete ciudades europeas de cara a satisfacer la demanda de sus clientes. Como parte de esta expansi n, Interxion construir el tercer centro de datos en Madrid ( MAD3 ), el segundo centro de datos en Bruselas ( BRU2 ) y ampliar los ya existentes en msterdam, Par s, Copenhague, Estocolmo y Viena.
Interxion tambi n ha adquirido terrenos en propiedad en msterdam y ha ejercido la opci n de compra del suelo de MAD3. La financiaci n de todos los proyectos de expansi n se realizar a trav s de fondos en efectivo y l neas de cr dito activas.
David Ruberg, CEO de Interxion, ha comentado que el creciente ritmo de adopci n cloud junto con la mejora de la econom a en Europa contin an impulsando la demanda de nuestros servicios de colocation en todos nuestros mercados. Con la demanda procedente de m ltiples comunidades de inter s, estas inversiones nos permitir n responder a las necesidades de nuestra creciente base de clientes al sumar aproximadamente 15.500 metros cuadrados de espacio t cnico.
Junto con las expansiones ya anunciadas, Interxion tiene ahora proyectos de ampliaci n activos en los 11 pa ses donde opera, lo que representa un total de m s de 33.000 metros cuadrados que incrementar n el espacio t cnico de la compa a m s de un 25% en relaci n con el tercer trimestre de 2017 .
En Madrid, Interxion construir un tercer centro de datos de 2.500 m y 5 MW de potencia disponible en una nica fase. Ubicado junto a los dos centros de datos de Interxion en Madrid, MAD3 se construir en un terreno que la compa a tiene la intenci n de comprar a comienzos de este a o. El nuevo centro de datos estar disponible en el segundo trimestre de 2019 y se conectar en forma redundante al anillo de fibra propio de Interxion, proporcionando acceso a m s de 80 carriers, ISP, CDN y a los puntos neutros ESpanix y DE-CIX. La inversi n asociada a MAD3, incluyendo la compra del terreno, alcanzar aproximadamente 44 millones de euros.
In msterdam, Interxion completar las cuatro fases restantes de AMS8, que una vez finalizado contar con 5.300 metros cuadrados (m2) de espacio t cnico y 10 megavatios (MW) de potencia disponible para los equipos de los clientes. Est prevista la apertura de las dos primeras fases en el cuarto trimestre de 2018 y las dos ltimas en el primer trimestre de 2019. La inversi n en AMS8 ser de 63 millones de euros aproximadamente. Adem s, Interxion ha incrementado en 22.000 m2 la propiedad de los terrenos adyacentes a AMS8 incluyendo la potencia asociada.
In Paris, Interxion completar el proyecto PAR7.2 al sumar 2.000 m2 adicionales y 4 MW de potencia, adem s de actualizar la infraestructura el ctrica existente en PAR7. El nuevo espacio estar disponible el primer trimestre de 2019. Se estima que la inversi n asociada a la expansi n de Par s sea de 44 millones de euros.
In Viena, junto a los 1.600 m2 que actualmente se encuentran en construcci n y que estar n operativos en el tercer trimestre de 2018, se a adir n 2.000 m2 para el tercer trimestre de 2019. La inversi n asociada a este incremento de la capacidad ser de 40 millones de euros.
In Copenhague, Interxion ampliar CPH2 con 900 m2 que estar n disponibles en el segundo trimestre de 2018 y otros 600 m2 en el primer trimestre de 2019. Esta inversi n ser de unos 18 millones de euros.
In Estocolmo, Interxion ampliar STO5 en dos fases que sumar n aproximadamente 400 m2 en el segundo trimestre de 2018 y 800 m2 en el primer trimestre de 2019. En este caso, la inversi n alcanzar aproximadamente los 18 millones de euros.
In Bruselas, Interxion construir BRU2 con 1.000 m2 de espacio t cnico y 1 MW de potencia disponible. El nuevo centro de datos estar disponible en el primer trimestre de 2018 y se conectar directamente con una fibra dedicada al actual centro de datos BRU1, proporcionando acceso a m s de 100 proveedores de conectividad y a los puntos neutros BNIX, NL-ix, AMS-IX, LINX y DE-CIX. La inversi n asociada a BRU2 ser de aproximadamente 3 millones de euros.
