Vienna, Austria, December 16, 2020 - ToolsOnAir today unveiled new versions of its acclaimed enterprise-grade ingest solution just:in linux v.5.0 and broadcast-optimised storage solution just:store v.4.0 featuring many improvements and additional functionalities requested by customers and in line with current industry standards.

What's New in just:in linux version 5.0:

With the new version 5.0 of just:in linux our customers can now benefit from the combination of already existing baseband ingest recording capabilities over SDI and HDMI and the new addition of SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) and NDI input sources. Each incoming SRT or NDI streams can be recorded in real-time into industry-standard formats such as AVC-I, XDCAM HD422, DNxHD/HR, ProRes, and Uncompressed, in matching MOV, MXF, MP4/MPEG-TS or AVI containers, up to UHD2 resolution, with full growing file support in qualified NLEs. Amongst the manifold improvements just:in linux v.5.0 also introduces a new user and multi-viewer template management, automatic output conversion of incoming signals and markers support for Adobe Premiere Pro.

The focus in version 5.0 was put on implementing customer requests as well as complying with industry standards, adding IP based input sources such as NDI and SRT and to revise the just:in linux hardware to allow for best-in-class performance shared Christian Schabasser, Senior Product Manager Ingest solutions at ToolsOnAir.

The new version 4.0 of our just:store storage solutions targets users and administrators that need improved setup capabilities and better status visibility of their just:store storage solution. Featuring a redesigned user interface as well as introducing powerful new additions such as an extensive REST API, Network Bandwidth Management to balance and prioritise read and write operations, an improved Authentication Management as well as integrated support for DaVinci Resolve Project Server, iconik Storage Gateway and Adobe Premiere Pro Productions, just:store version 4.0 is an excellent choice for broadcast professionals that require speed, reliability, and dedicated storage workflow optimisations for ingest, editing and playout scenarios at a very competitive price.
