artec technologies AG awarded follow-up contract from a leading news agency in Qatar

Qatars leading news Agency has commissioned artec technologies AG to provide a new TV/Radio recording and information system. The system will enable the Agencys editors to generate and evaluate information from over 200 TV and radio broadcasters and then forward onto the countrys governmental agencies and dignitaries in real time. The Agency will benefit from the latest broadcast upgrades including increased numbers of TV and radio channels processed per unit and low energy consumption.

The new modules also offer integrated mobile TV solutions for providing worldwide accessibility for closed user groups. This unique technology makes it possible for the users in any time zones around the world to call up TV programs originating in their personal regions, either in real-time or with time shifting. In addition, through special display characteristics and search functions, individual broadcasts can be located within seconds and immediately called up.

Personalised retrieval of video clips through set-top boxes, TV programs, or via interactive features, can be received via the Internet in high quality on standard, commercially available TV sets an interesting option for cabinet members holiday residences, even if they have limited TV reception.
