Rolf Hellermann to Succeed Frank Kebsch as CEO Arvato Financial Solutions

Rolf Hellermann (42), currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on the Arvato Board and Head of Corporate Controlling and Strategy at Bertelsmann, will take over as head of Arvato Financial Solutions with effect from today. He succeeds Frank Kebsch (53), who will be leaving amicably and by mutual agreement after nearly 20 years with the company, to pursue new career challenges outside Bertelsmann. Like his predecessor, Rolf Hellermann will report to Bernd Hirsch, Chief Financial Officer of Bertelsmann and Arvato Board member responsible for the Arvato Financial Solutions and Arvato Systems solution groups.

Bertelsmann CFO Bernd Hirsch said: As a member of the management board and as CEO since 2016, Frank Kebsch has had a formative influence on Arvato Financial Solutions, and gave the business a lot of new momentum. He played a key role in the takeovers of the Infoscore Group and Gothia, as well as in the acquisition of Intervalor, a Brazilian financial services provider, and contributed to the systematic internationalization of Arvato Financial Solutions in this and many other ways. As a leading European provider of financial services, the company is now in an excellent position. On behalf of all members of the Arvato Board, I would like to cordially thank Frank Kebsch for his outstanding work. We are sorry to see him go, and wish him all the best for his future career.

Thanks to his work as CFO on the Arvato Board and in the Group, he is very familiar with the business. After studying business administration in Vallendar, Los Angeles, and Nancy, Rolf Hellermann received his doctorate from WHU - The Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar. Immediately afterwards, he started at the Bertelsmann Corporate Center in 2004. In 2012, Rolf Hellermann took over as head of Bertelsmann's central Controlling and Strategy department. In July 2015, he was additionally appointed to the Arvato Board as Chief Financial Officer.
