The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) has announced the nominees for its 2017 #SAFTAs11 South African Film and Television Awards at a breakfast in Bryanston. Over 400 production companies submitted their work for entries.
The theme for the annual awards show, now in its eleventh year is SA has got it, lets celebrate it. Nambitha Mpumlwana hosted the event and judge Kimberley Stark gave some insight into the voting process.
There are 258 nominees in 89 categories.
The ceremony will be held in Sun City from 16 - 18 March.
